New Add-on: Automatic Kit Costs Calculation

With Great Pleasure we announcing that we Released new Add-on "Automatic Kit Costs Calculation"

We Identify that Currently Kit parents only sum up the total of quantity/inventory from the kit parts. It doesn’t sum up the total of costs. Sometimes the vendor changes the costs and the client has to re-calculate manually. We Implemented possibility to turn on Automatic Kit Costs Calculation for Kit Pats.

Automatic Kit Costs Add-on:

• User can select how Kit cost will be calculated. (Manually or Automatically) via product details page by selecting Check box in KIT details Screen for kit parent

  • Yes

  • No (Default)

Assumption:

• If you have kit parts with different costs in different warehouses, then Automatic Kit Cost calculation will be disabled for this Kit.

• Automatic Kit costs will be calculated only if there is only one inventory source for each parts and no alternate parts configured

  • It means that Kit shouldn’t have several Inventory source

  • items in Kit shouldn’t have Alternative items which linked to the Kit

• If Kit calculated automatically, change costs for this kit is not possible to change manually, (will be grey out)

• Kit costs calculation cycle should be done every 5 min.
